Germany: A Premier European Country to Visit
Germany is a wonderful country to visit. In fact, it’s one of my favorite European countries to travel to for a few reasons. First of all, the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Germans are incredibly accommodating and helpful. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t know the language.
Another reason I love Germany is that it has more theaters, concert halls, and opera houses per capita than any other country in the world. Germans put a lot of value on their culture. They have fascinating art galleries as well.
As if that wasn’t enough, Germany is also world famous for serving a variety of delicious beers that just so happen to go well with their delicious cuisine. While there are many great things to experience in Germany, here are some of my favorites:
Cologne Cathedral: I love the Cologne Cathedral. It’s a stunning Roman Catholic Church in the city of Cologne. Construction of this masterpiece started way back in 1248, and it’s still a cherished place by Germans and tourists alike.
Neuschwanstein: This is a stunning 19th century Romanesque Revival palace. The palace is located on a hill above a small village in southwest Bavaria. While visiting the palace, be prepared to feel like you’re in a magical fairytale.
Bavarian sausage: You can’t leave this country without trying their mouthwatering sausages! In my opinion, Bavarian sausages are the most delicious in the world! They taste best with a side of sweet mustard and they go really well paired with Bavarian pretzels. Of course, they’re also delicious with a cold glass of Bavarian beer.
