As for accommodation, most of it can be found on Perhentian Besar, the larger island. Hotels are usually aimed at budget travelers.Redang: Redang Island, locally known as Pulau Redang or just “Redang” is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia. Among nine islands, this offers marine life pleasure serving diving, snorkeling opportunities. The waters around Pulau Redang also contain two historic shipwrecks: HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse. The best time to visit Redang is from June to August when the weather is good and the sea is calm, offering great diving and snorkeling opportunities.
